Proposal Writer's Workshop 2008

January 3rd, 2008

The MAST Laboratory at the University of Minnesota, an equipment site of the NEES Collaboratory, contains a unique system enabling three-dimensional, large-scale structural testing. The one-day Training Workshop will provide prospective MAST users with information necessary to develop a research proposal that takes advantage of the capabilities of the MAST system.

Workshop sessions will include an overview of MAST system capabilities and laboratory features, addressing test controls, data acquisition and remote participation capabilities. Participants will view the lab, meet lab personnel, and participate in a testing demonstration. In addition, the Training Workshop will provide prospective lab users with information to aid in planning, scheduling and budgeting large-scale structural testing research at MAST.
